Sisters Slumber Party

With Steve, Israel, and Tyler all out of town this weekend, I hosted a "Sisters Slumber Party"--lots of fun and I hope it becomes a tradition! We watched movies, ate way too much and laughed hysterically over old family photos.

West Seattle

We love West Seattle and we love visiting aunt Kendra there! Had a fun morning browsing the shops along California Avenue and getting into trouble. B is going through a wonderful "don't look at the camera phase". Goes nicely with the "NOOOOO" phase. We're getting a taste of that two-year-old contrariness (it's not so bad if you wash it down with mini cupcakes from CoffeToATea!)

Fork it

Well, we got forked--and spooned---by the Stadium girls. Steve's been coaching a long time, so this isn't our first forking. This IS, however, the first time we've had a little helper cleaning up!


Note the kitty coming around the fence---B will decide shortly that he is FAR more interesting than the plastic cutlery, and chase him down the street.

This morning we took advantage of a warmish (40F) day and went to Titlow Park. What a treat to see my girl playing in the sunshine after all the snow and rain we've been getting. We saw a bald eagle! Although, B calls seagulls "eagles", so for her, it wasn't too thrilling.

We're so excited that Laura Lundahl and Isreal Lesdama have announced their engagement! Her proposed on Jan. 2. 2009 in Mexico City. Wedding date TBA. We couldn't be happier to add a new brother-in-law to the family!
