Crawling and eating and playing, oh my!

So much going on here lately! First, Mia's on the move!

I've been trying for a week to get a video of her crawling. She actually does a bit with her belly off the ground and the rest is very effective scooting. :) Mia's been getting lots of attention with the eating and crawling, so Bianca wanted to hog the limelight a bit in this movie.

When she jumps out and says it's a "funny video"--she loves to watch funny cat vids on You Tube, many of which feature cats jumping out at people. So she's trying to be funny like the cats on the videos. She's wearing a dipe because she just woke up.

Anyway, that's the time Mia chooses to actually crawl. :)

And since the theme of this blog is a family in progress, I have to talk about Mia's progress with solids. It's been amazing. In a month she's gone from this: (date 4/23)

To this--literally devouring entire bananas on her own (date 5/28). The girl loves food. I'm just floored--not that my kid is any sort of genious, but just at kids and their capacity to learn if you give them the chance. She loves feeding herself so much that I have to work pretty hard to get a bite of cereal in there!
